Організатори виставки дитячого малюнка ««Я малюю мир!» у Бремені – Юлія та Павло Сліпічі, представники Херсонського навчально-естетичного комплексу «Художня школа», що продовжує успішно працювати, об’єднуючи не лише дітей з Херсона, а й з інших міст України. Колектив мистецького закладу покинув окупований Херсон, налаштувавшись на дистанційний формат роботи.
«В нашій художній школі до війни навчалося 800 дітей. Нам вдалося зберегти і викладачів, і вихованців, як роз’їхалися по всьому світові. До нас приєдналися діти з різних областей України – Маріуполя, Мелітополя, Харкова, Миколаєва, Києва, з-за кордону, з родин емігрантів, які хочуть вивчати українську культуру й мову. За цей рік ми стали сильнішими. Роботи талановитих вихованців художньої школи з початку війни вже були представлені на виставках в 20 країнах світу. Діти продовжують творити, малювати, мріючи про повернення до рідного Херсона. Дитяче мистецтво лікує і тішить, дарує насолоду і надію!» – говорить Юлія Сліпіч, директорка Навчально-естетичного комплексу «Художня школа».
З відкриттям виставки у Бремені допомагали представники Ротарі-клубу, це зазначила Вікторія Бебко. Під час мистецького заходу відбувся й аукціон, на якому були зібрано кошти на потреби закладу. Споруда дитячої художньої школи під час обстрілів була пошкоджена, потребує відновлення.
«Цією виставкою ми хотіли показати німецькій спільноті, які наші діти, наші люди – творчі, інтелектуальні, духовні та світлі! Щоб люди Німеччини пишалися народом, якому вони допомагають! Вважаю, нам це вдалося А також пройшов майстер-клас «Птахи Миру». І ці роботи згодом будуть представлені у Флоренціі (Італія)», – зазначила Вікторія Бебко, президентка Ротарі-клубу в Херсоні.
«Птахи Миру» – це міжнародний україно-італійський мистецький проєкт,заснований Навчально-естетичним комплексом “Художня школа” Херсона та організаціями в Італії VITAukr, Colors for Peace, Robert F.Kennedy Human Rights. Мета проєкту – підтримати таланти України, презентувати у світовому центрі культури та мистецтва – місті Флоренція (Італія) найбільшу українську виставку.
«До міжнародного україно-італійського проєкту «Птахи миру» долучилося більше 2000 учасників з усіх регіонів України. Майже половина з них вимушені були покинути свої домівки через війну. Це величезна трагедія для кожної родини, для дітей і дорослих. В образах птахів, які прилетіли на проєкт ми бачили образи українців, які чекають на повернення у рідні края. 100 авторських робіт відібрано журі на виставку у Римі, яка пройде у вересні до Всесвітнього Дню миру. Птахи МИРу – воїни культурного фронту! Наші маленьки українці, справжні патріоти, допомагають дорослим виборювати свободу, несуть світу звістку про важливість збереження миру!», – говорить Юлія Сліпіч.
Своїм унікальним досвідом, як працюват в умовах війни, викладачі закладу ділилися під час Всеукраїнського науково-практичного семінару «Проєктна мистецька діяльність як засіб розвитку сензитивності та емпатії. Війна – зупинка чи поштовх?». Науковий захід проходив у форматі онлайн-конференції, долучилося до нього 245 учасників з різних регіонів.
Організатором наукового заходу виступило керівництво Навчально-естетичного комплексу «Художня школа» за підтримки Державного науково-методичного центру змісту культурно-мистецької освіти.
Цей захід традиційно раз на два роки проходив у Херсоні. Війна не змінила планів. Викладачі художньої школи Херсона представили нові напрацювання.
Чи повинна культура стояти осторонь та чекати найкращих мирних часів, чи, навпаки, повинна рухатися вперед, ведучи за собою та віддзеркалюючи реальність, шукаючи шляхи розвитку суспільства, мистецтва, людини, дитини? На ці питання намагалися знайти відповідь під час семінару.
«Учасники заходу ближче познайомилися з проєктами, які народилися та реалізувалися за час війни дитячою художньою школою, дизайн-ліцеєм та творчою спільнотою міста Херсона, об’єднуючи творчих дітей, митців, аматорів з різних куточків світу. Ми представили 900 відеопрезентацій до 50 курсів, які розроблені викладачами нашого закладу. В умовах війни ми навчилися працювати потужно і ми готові ділитися цим досвідом. Мистецтво – це теж зброя», – додала Юлія Сліпіч.

The organizers of the “I Draw Peace!” children’s art exhibition in Bremen are Yulia and Pavlo Slipech, representatives of the Kherson Educational and Aesthetic Complex “Art School.” This institution continues to operate successfully, bringing together children from Kherson and other cities in Ukraine. The artistic community of the school left the occupied city of Kherson and adapted to remote work.
“Before the war, 800 children were studying in our art school. We managed to preserve both the teachers and the students, as they dispersed around the world. Children from different regions of Ukraine, such as Mariupol, Melitopol, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv, as well as from abroad and immigrant families who want to learn Ukrainian culture and language, joined us. Over the past year, we have become stronger. The works of talented students from the art school have already been exhibited in 20 countries worldwide since the beginning of the war. The children continue to create and draw, dreaming of returning to their native Kherson. Children’s art heals and brings joy, giving hope!” says Yulia Slipech, the director of the Educational and Aesthetic Complex “Art School.”
Representatives of the Rotary Club assisted in the opening of the exhibition in Bremen, as mentioned by Victoria Bebko. During the art event, an auction was also held to raise funds for the needs of the institution. The building of the children’s art school was damaged during the shelling and requires restoration.
“With this exhibition, we wanted to show the German community the creativity, intellect, spirituality, and brightness of our children and people. We want the people of Germany to be proud of the nation they are helping. I believe we have succeeded. We also held a master class on ‘Birds of Peace.’ These artworks will be presented in Florence, Italy,” noted Victoria Bebko, the president of the Rotary Club in Kherson.
“Birds of Peace” is an international Ukrainian-Italian art project founded by the Kherson Educational and Aesthetic Complex “Art School” and organizations in Italy such as VITAukr, Colors for Peace, and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. The goal of the project is to support Ukrainian talents and present the largest Ukrainian exhibition in the world center of Culture and Art, the city of Florence, Italy.
“More than 2,000 participants from all regions of Ukraine have joined the international Ukrainian-Italian project ‘Birds of Peace.’ Nearly half of them had to leave their homes due to the war. It is a tremendous tragedy for every family, child, and adult. In the images of birds that arrived for the project, we see the images of Ukrainians waiting to return to their homeland. The jury has selected 100 original works for the exhibition in Rome, which will take place in September, coinciding with World Peace Day. Birds of Peace are warriors of the cultural front! Our little Ukrainians, true patriots, help adults fight for freedom and convey the message of the importance of preserving peace to the world!” says Yulia Slipech.
The teachers of the institution shared their unique experience of working in war conditions during the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Seminar on “Project-Based Art Activities as a Means of Developing Sensitivity and Empathy. War – a Halt or a Push?” The scientific event was held in an online conference format and attracted 245 participants from different regions.
The leadership of the Kherson Educational and Aesthetic Complex “Art School,” with the support of the State Scientific and Methodological Center for Content of Cultural and Artistic Education, organized the scientific event.
Traditionally, this event took place in Kherson every two years. The war did not change the plans. The teachers of the Kherson Art School presented their new developments.
Should culture stand aside and wait for better peaceful times, or should it, on the contrary, move forward, leading and reflecting reality, seeking ways for the development of society, art, individuals, and children? These questions were attempted to be answered during the seminar.
“The participants of the event got acquainted with the projects that were born and implemented by the Children’s Art School, Design Lyceum, and the creative community of the city of Kherson during the war. These projects brought together creative children, artists, and amateurs from different parts of the world. We presented 900 video presentations for 50 courses that were developed by the teachers of our institution. In the conditions of war, we learned to work powerfully, and we are ready to share this experience. Art is also a weapon,” added Yulia Slipech.
